Έγραψε έντεκα συλλογές διηγημάτων, εφτά μυθιστορήματα, ένα αυτοβιογραφικό βιβλίο, σενάρια και θεατρικά.
Έργα του έχουν ανεβεί στο Κρατικό Θέατρο Βόρειας Ελλάδας, στο Ηρώδειο, στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών, στο Θέατρο Πειραιώς και στην Κύπρο. Έγραψε το σενάριο της ταινίας του Παντελή Βούλγαρη «Όλα είναι δρόμος».
Το βιβλίο του «Ουζερί Τσιτσάνης» έγινε ταινία από τον Μανούσο Μανουσάκη.
Skampardonis has written eleven collections of short stories, seven novels, an autobiographical
book, screenplays and plays.
His works have been performed at the State Theatre of Northern Greece, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Athens Concert Hall, the Piraeus Theatre and in Cyprus. He wrote the screenplay for Pantelis Voulgaris’ film Everything is a Road.
His book Ouzeri Tsitsanis was made into a film by Manousos Manousakis.
