Γράφει μυθιστορήματα επιστημονικής φαντασίας και παιδικής λογοτεχνίας. Έχουν εκδοθεί επτά μυθι- στορήματά της, ένα παιδικό βιβλίο και διηγήματα σε περιοδικά και ανθολογίες. Το μυθιστόρημά της Τι είδε η γυναίκα του Λωτ; τιμήθηκε με το Athens Prize for Literature (2008). Η Guardian το κατέταξε στα καλύτερα βιβλία επιστημονικής φαντασίας της χρονιάς (2013). Ο Δράκος της Πρέσπας έλαβε το Βραβείο της Ακαδημίας Αθηνών (2015) και το Κρατικό Βραβείο Μυθιστορήματος (2024).
loanna Bourazopoulou (1968), is a writer of science fiction novels, fantasy, drama and children’s literature. Seven of her novels and one children’s book have been published, as well as short stories in literary magazines. Her novel What Lot’s Wife Saw? was awarded the Athens Prize for Literature (2008). The Guardian ranked it among the best science fiction books of the 2013. Her Dragon of Prespa received the Academy of Athens Prize (2015) and the State Prize for Novel (2024).
